In a bid to bring ease to means of transportation to the people of ilaro and also to improve the IGR of the region, the Ogun state APC party secretary, Hon. Ayo Olubori initiated the tricycle operation in his hometown, Ilaro.

 Hon. Olubori who was ably represented by the vice Chairman of the party, Yewa South local government launched the operations of Tricycles in the headquarters of Yewa land in an event graced with applauds by both riders and commuters who sees tricycle as an alternative to the popular Okada.

Hon. Olubori made it known that the introduction of tricycles to the community will bring relief to the means of transportation of commuters and goods. He said "it will be an additional means of transportation that comes with lesser price tag and also convenience. It will reduce the over population and overloading of Okada as it is risky to lives.

" It is a safe means of transportation with little or no casualties recorded where they were being used" Hon Ayo Olubori reiterated.

Present at the occasion are statesmen from Yewa axis, amongst whom are; Alh. Babatunde Lawal(Omo Iya Aje) Amoran senatorial Chairman, Ogun west, Alh. Sarafa Owonikoko TORAN Chairman, Alh. Musiliu Akerele Provost 1,ACOMORAN Ogun state, Hon. Babatunde Olurin, numerous tricycle operators from the senatorial axis from both tricycle associations.
